Nik Halik is not a millionaire, or billionaire but a thrillionaire.
Okay, he made up that last word but given that at 40 he is financially independent, has dived 5 miles below sea level to perch his submersible on the bow of the Titanic, climbed up some tall mountains, and spent the night (alone) in the King’s Tomb in Egypt.
Next year Nik will become Australia’s first civilian cosmonaut to launch into space, I think he has earned the right to make up as many words as he wishes.
Seriously though Nik is also an entrepreneur, global wealth strategist, speaker and author of “The Thrillionaire-Make your life an epic extraordinary adventure”
In my interview with Nik the theme that emerged when it came to creating massive wealth and success is summarized below:
I have always believed that unconventional people make unconventional choices and that is one secret of successful millionaires or in the case of Nik Halik, a thrillionaire.
– Rather than follow in the footsteps of his older siblings and head off to university or college, he instead took his guitar to Hollywood and played in rock and roll arenas.
Another telling factor is having the ability to dream, think really big and see their lives in glorious living technicolour well before any of these events manifest. If this sounds familiar it is a version of creative visualization that the New Age movement has claimed as its own.
– In Nik’s case, his vivid imagination was borne out of being confined to his bedroom as a child when doctors advised his parents that his allergies were life threatening. See it’s not all bad. When life gives you lemons, make avegolemeno.
The third is my all time favourite: writing down their goals.
– For many this practice comes about when we are well into our 20s or 30s if that. We do not find many 8 year olds crafting the top 10 goals they want to achieve in this lifetime. So it comes as no surprise that Nik has ticked off 8 out of 10 on his bucket list.
One sure fire way of creating massive wealth is to be of service to others or “value factoring” another Nik-ism. In normal speak it means provide fantastic solutions to peoples’ problems; they will pay you handsomely for helping them solve their problem.
And finally, having a spiritual practice in the lives of wealthy and successful people seems to be a common thread that weaves through their being.
– In other words spend time with yourself-meditate or go to your special place of stillness and quiet.
So, folks be inspired to live your life by design, not default.
